A couple times a week I put together a low cost/huge odds parlay and see if I can strike lightning. Well, if it wasn't for the 2 out 9th inning homer that Brad Lidge gave up to a guy that now has 3 all year, I would have hit it at nearly 600-1 odds. Here it is to prove I am telling the truth.

I hit a $5 to pay $1100 parlay earlier this season. It all came down to Giants RL and they were down 1 to the Nats heading into the bottom of the ninth after blowing an 8-1 lead through 7. They got 2 guys on, 2 outs, 0-2 count...walk off home run and they win 11-9. Thems the breaks man. To hit a huge parlay like that you need shit like that to happen.

I had a 6 teamer that would've paid $4k the other night that lost because the Dbacks blew a big lead vs the Marlins. On the other hand, if the Mariners hadn't hit the 3 run HR then their RL bet never would've won and my parlay still would've lost. There's a reason these bets pay x00 to 1...cuz they are really damn long shots.

Join the crowd Potter. 'I've been there and done that' as the saying goes. I'm sure everyone has endured the wrath of some player at one time or another, whether it be a pitcher or an outfielder or even a batter for that matter. Shit happens all the time and when it happens, it's a bummer! Nothing we can do about it about tell out story and complain to help heal the wound(s). They stick with you for awhile though. Maybe a couple of victories, even small, will help your ailment.

I kid you not when I tell you that I have not taken
Philly at times because Lidge could close. When I see them as winning a game but close, I'll stay away. He's one of the most shakey closers there are.
