Pettitte has pitched much better on the road this year, racking up a 2.79 road ERA vs. a 4.53 ERA overall.

However, if you look at the last 3 starts by Pettitte and Weaver, they have both pitched relatively shitty, so Over may be the play.

The Angels are 25-5 at home in day games the last 2 years combined(7-1 this year), and they are also a perfect 9-0 the last 2 years in home day games against lefthanded starters averaging 7.56 runs/game Jered Weaver has a 1.91 ERA at home this year, and the Angels are 7-2 in his home starts. Weaver also has a 1.12 ERA in day games, and in his only 2 daytime starts at home this year he did not allow an ER in either. The Angels are 17-6 the last 23 at home against the Yankees and 11-4 against them last 15 overall. The Angels are 13-4 their last 17 games following a win.

I have a thought - stay the hell away!!! comparable pitching, two explosive teams that are both playing well, and basically even money. Anyone who sees playable value on either side of this one should really just go flip a coin in their yard and bet their neighbor that it lands on heads or tails..

LAA has been struggling VS LHP L-10 .216
At home all year .238

But according to Sherwood LAA has a very good batting history VS Pettite.

Yanks are usually an overlay, so I'll take hometeam and maybe over.
