I hardly EVER bet AGAINST the Cubs...if i dont like the line, i just dont play it...cuz i can never root for the Cubs to lose...however, the VALUE on that line today i just couldnt pass up.....no way that the Cubs should be -180 against the Cards right now, unless Pujols is out for the game, and they are putting Ankiel on the mound again....Cubs bats just arent heated up enough right now, so its hard to count on them to get many runs....they very well may score 10 today, but they just arent showing that they can do it right now.....they are taking streaks where they lose 4-5 in a row, then win 4-5/out of 6....right now, is a cold streak again, and this is just too good a line not to take a shot at.....if i dont win the bet at least my cubbies got the win, but i gotta take a shot at +170

and now we see why i dont bet against my cubs...i either play them (if i like the value) or i leave it alone....here they have played nicely today, got a great pitching job by Lilly, and i end up losing on it......weird feeling.......i have to give the linesmen credit on this one, cuz i thought they were crazy with the -180 line....but game has gone about like a -180 team should TODAY....
