3-1 top 7 1st and 2nd 1 out and u have 8 and 9 up 0-4 with two groundouts and sure they may still pinch hint cust but who cares. You pitcher only has 89 pitches and he is a ground ball pitcher and ur telling me you dont have confidence in shields to get out of it. If I am shields I would have gone haywire and hit maddon over the head with the cooler. As soon as they pulled shields out I told my friend this coach is a moron. what a momentum swing for the a's u get to face wheeler instead of shields. How these morons get these jobs I do not know.
