They should at least win the West again, which then presents the opportunity to hedge & bet the other team in the East to guarantee a profit.

With the addition of Ron Artest they will likely be better than this past season & there's nobody in the West going to challenge them. (No not the Nuggets either)

Odom is dumb but not that dumb.

4 years 36 > 5 years 34.

LA better chance to win. He gets to play with Ron Ron. He has lived in LA 9 of his 10 years.

He is going to miami for leverage. He is also waiting for Utah to match on Portland offer for Milsap. Once that happens he is hoping portland makes him a big offer so he can bring it back to the Lakers.

And you're right in that other thread olku.....He should stay with LA if he has any sense.

But then again......Look at Grant Hill......He could have gone to Boston & probably helped win a championship, but he chose to take a little more money that he didn't even need to stay with Phoenix who is going nowhere.....:ohno:

honestly Hache it makes no sense to me if he leaves LA. unless he got his ring and now wants to chill with no pressure. maybe he is tired of coming off the bench or hates kobe screaming at everyone. i have no idea.

I can see if he wants to leave for money but I don't get this at all right now.

Players take less cash to go to a winning team. not less cash to leave a winning team.
