That's the thing with these teams, it's like anything that can go wrong will... that's why i can never favor them even if everything looks about even

yeah, can't say that i don't expect that type of thing from the nats, but the mariners doing that shit disappoints me..that and losing to cleveland so far.. still worth the +184 though. but you're right, i should slap myself for betting on the nats, regardless of any signs of life they've been showing lately.

oh my bad, i was thinking mets and not mariners, but that's bc i was in the middle of kicking some ass in ncaa09 :laugh: it's always a shame when the team you bet on gives away outs and runs.. gahhh

Your wording puzzled me...but I understand what to what you're referring to.

A "Ground rule double" is a fair ball that bounces out of play without having touched a fielder.

What you described were simple "two-base errors", in which a batter or runner who should have been retired with routine effort instead got one base and then was awarded a second when the defender threw the ball out of play.
