I was thinking the same thing B.C. went w/ Moyer and Santana as small dogs w/ good records against the teams they face and a large sample to gather from.

This is his third start back,so if he is arm is a go it will be tonight vs. a team he has success.

If he gets shelled then the Angles have a problem.


Update: Santana, who has been on the disabled list twice this season, says he is sound and that he has cleared the mental hurdle of cutting loose on his fastball after a significant elbow injury. In his first two starts since returning from his second DL stint, Santana has given up nine earned runs and 15 hits in nine innings of losses to Baltimore and Texas, and his fastball seemed to lack the late life that made him difficult to hit last year. Braden has held left-handers to a .176 average, but right-handers are hitting .281.
