For example tonights game Astros +137 Dodgers -152
+1.5 (-160) -1.5 (+140)

I've been playing the -1.5 line a decent amount of times on the -1.5 line and I burned a couple of times by 1 run wins. My theory is if I'm going to put money on the team to win I think they should win by at least 2. As was wondering for the people with lots of experience if -1.5 is a good bet or if it is a bet for suckers. You'd be surprised how many games are decided by 1 run though.

Thanks in advance.

i consider the runline the same as a teaser in football...beats you in the end. can be profitable in chase systems, but loses a lot of times as well.
