I don't know if you guys remember the story a few years back that made national news - about the guy who "mysteriously" was lost/thrown overboard on a cruise. My wife worked closely with a woman who knew this couple and was on the cruise. She and her husband were some of the last people to see this guy alive. They were interviewed a couple of times by the F.B.I. who indicated this kind of stuff happens all the time on cruises.
I can't remember what cruise line they were on, but sounded like the company screwed up big time. The prime suspects (Russian) were kicked off the ship for bad behaviour and allowed to debark at some port of call. Most of the potential witness were so drunk they couldn't remember a thing.

Rogue waves happen. I have watched tons of shows about them on the National Geographic channel. They are very scary.

Here's the thing about Cruises, IMO
If you Live in the Northeast, Never Never take a cruise in the Winter time leaving out of NY/NJ
Also For Everyone ......Never take a Cruise During Hurricane Season
You will see that prices are much lower during the season of Hurricanes
Duh....LOL
Even though they Charter a route around these Storms, you never know.
On a side Note, Not too sure when that Video was shot. and it looks Old
and it was Kind of Funny, that the Ads on the bottom of the Video were for Cruise Deals !
Don't cruise the Caribbean in the wintertime. This is when you can get the most unpredictable weather. Cruise ships have to sometimes divert their courses from certain islands for a day or two until the rough water subside and they can port. So it can put a damper on your plans and keep you out at sea longer than you would like. This time of year is probably where the so-called "rogue waves" come from. My advice is to get on the biggest cruise ship you can find. The only thing that is going to knock one of these big tubs out of the water is an A-Bomb.
