But can he fit into other teams' sytems the way he did in LA where he was part of a solid team of role players?

He is a solid player but disappears for games.

if he leaves the lakers to make same/less money he is an idiot.

He has a chance to win a few rings with LA.

he is one of those players that doesnt have to try to contribute. and what i mean by that is with his length and size he is able to run for a big man. he can play on the outside and bring the ball up the court, he is to tall for a guard to cover him and to fast for most guys his size. he stretches the floor just by being on it and he doesnt have to score to contribute he can give the defense problems by just being on the court.

He is a solid pick up. Big guys that can bang inside and have an outside shot are always welcome in my opinion.

I have learned that Lamar Odom had a phone conversation with Lakers owner Jerry Buss on Thursday. I am told the purpose of the call was to rebuild any bridges that Odom's agent, Jeff Schwartz may have burned by not responding to the Lakers offer of 3-years $30 million, and 4-years for $36 million.

According to reports today, Miami is offering Odom a 5-year package.

He could play on my team. With all of these floppers getting huge contracts Odom is a legitimate player and is more deserving than many of getting a "decent" contract.
