I know the Yankees are at home but I believe that Verlander is better than Sabathia and there isn't a pitcher in the AL that I wouldn't take Verlander and +146 against. JMO

Those numbers do not tell the whole story. Verlander lost 2 of those games in April where he struggled bigtime. In his 3 road starts in April he gave up 20 ERs in just 16 innings. But in his 6 road starts against the AL since he has given up only 10 ERs in 43 1/3 innings while striking out 52 batters to only 7 walks. You can't always look at season long statistics especially in Verlander's case. He has argueably been the best pitcher since he beat the Yankees on 4/27. He gave up 0 runs in 7 innings along with 9Ks and 0 walks.

Verlander held his own today but a loss is a loss. And what good is good money if you can't collect it. My point was to stay away, that's all. Good luck on the rest of the day.
