Lackey absolutely dominates the Athletics. Look for it to continue today in Oakland. The Angels are in a serious groove, even without Torii Hunter and Vlad.

Anderson gave up 5 runs against the Angels last time out in May. With the way the Angels are hitting, it could get ugly today.

On a side note, Napoli was 4 for 4 against Anderson last game. Let's see what he can do today.

No Rivera in the lineup for the Angels. Mathis cannot hit, plain and simple. Thinking about parlaying the Angels and the under after seeing the lineup.

I thought about playing the Angels today but that line scared me off. They should have been at least -150 IMO.

The line when Santana pitched was the same, extremely low. There just has not been much confidence in Angel pitching. Both Santana and Lackey are showing signs of getting their stuff together. I'd still choose them any day of the week over anything Oakland has to offer.

I agree they are the better team, and it's not even close. Oakland's hitting is horrendous and Anderson is a gascan. That's why I think the line should be much higher. Even if you discount Lackey, which I wouldn't do because the guy is a proven ace, I think the line should be higher. This game looks a lot like the Giants game today. I'm sure people were tripping all over themselves to get a piece of Matt Cain at almost even odds (even though Duke is one of the best pitchers in baseball). Both lines looked really fishy to me.

I have no money on the game either way, so I hope the Halos win for you. There is no doubt they should absolutely win, but what should happen and what does happen are very rarely the same thing in bases.

I took UNDER 8½ -110

Anderson pitched CG shut out vs Bosox 2 back and was doing the same vs Rays last out but came out with stiff back going 4 shut out innings throwing 50 pitches which in my opinion makes him fresh.
