Attached is the excel spreadsheet from Ganch.
Just plug in the lines, and how much you want to win, it will automatically tell you how much to bet on each, for both scenarios- for the dog play +1, and for the fav play -1.

I like it because say you just want to win $100 betting the favorite, it will tell you to bet $46.15 on the ML to win $38.46 (at -120). And then bet $38.46 on the RL to win $61.54 (at +160). This makes your -1 line +118 (risking $84.61 to win $100).

Forgot to add that the best benefit for this is when you like a BIG favorite, but dont want to risk BIG money on that inflated BIG line. :>)
Perfect example is say you like the Dodgers tonight (-190) against Cincy. Instead of risking 190 to win 100, you can risk $138 to win $100 on the -1 line. For the big betters, that difference between laying $1900 or $1380 is huge.
