i don't know why i feel the need to share the banter of the ranger announcers today, but here's another nugget from the 8th inning....

i was wondering why they couldnt score on Ponson either...it was my fav play of the day....they finally broke thorugh against the bullpen, and have now broke it open, but still, cant believe Ponson held them down..

they were getting men on against him, but just couldn't get them home. he did have some damn good movement on his pitches though.

"meat loaf the royals" I can understand referring to a team as "we", but saying shit like that is definitely homer-esque.

fssw has a bad habit of coming from commercial with the game already underway. think they caught ole tommy off guard. i was in the other room and it went from commercial and next thing i heard was "i don't give a shit."

lewin tried to cover for him...."well, here we go, top of the 2nd..."
