ronnie brown is a top 5 back, ricky williams surprised me and was solid last year. vick probably the fastest of the 3 and has the deep arm that pennington doesnt. pennington is good for short throws and thats it pretty much.

Proven fact you can't win in this league without a MAC QB. :drink:

you agree that ronnie brown is a top 5 back?

he is at least fantasy wise.

No because he shares the workload with Williams. I had him a couple years ago and sold high on him. Can't get a feel on the Dolphins. I would think they would regress a little.

The numbers are interesting. The wildcat was very effective for the Dolphins for the first 8-10 games of the season. The last 6-8 games, the wildcat wasn't very effective at all in terms of either yards, yards per carry, or touchdowns.

The NFL has had all off-season to tear down the film. I don't think the Dolphins will have nearly the success this year that they had last year.

It may be a "change of pace" offensive package...but cant win the NFL solely running the wildcat.

And you are seriously underestimating all that Chad brings to the table. No, he's not your guy if you need somebody to throw it 70 yards but he wins. He almost always throws to the right guy. He seldom throws the ball up for grabs. And, most importantly, his team mates believe in him.

You're basically proposing that an NFL team run a college-style option offense against defenders far faster than seen in college. That won't work. The Wildcat itself didn't work much after the first three or four weeks it was used last season, and it sure wouldn't work when used for more than a few change-up plays a game.

Pennington is at least an NFL-caliber quarterback, which is more than Vick ever was.

Vick has a deep arm????? When did he even have a swing pass arm ? This is horrible...fantasy league posters on espn forums have more of a clue....

Is this what we gonna have for the next 2 weeks?? The R/X goes Wagertalk?

you guys act like the players running college style are a bunch of bums when you 3 elite players in the back field i think it could work offcourse not every play but nothing does

College also has 5-6 QB's. You will burn through your salary cap pretty fast in the NFL running this.

No, it wouldn't work in the pros, largely because the defenders are too fast and aren't fooled as easily as college players are.

There are very good reasons why option offenses aren't played in the NFL. It does seem like I remember one of the strike teams using a wishbone for a while in desperation, though.

Are you kidding me? I dont want Vick anywhere near my football team. He and his brother are a bunch of low class thugs. Even when Vick was in his prime, he was a very mediocore QB. What is his career completion rate? Better look that one up Vick lovers. He is horribly inaccurate. Now after some time off and being much older he is going to do better??? BAWAHAHAHAHAHA He is garbage both on the field and off. Vick has never won anything as a professional QB nor will he. Any team that signs him needs to have their entire staff fired. Let him go to the CFL.

You can't run wildcat as a regular offense in the NFL. The players on defenese are too fast and strong. The QB would be on injured reserve inside of 3 weeks.
