Not bad but why Texas?
I think there are better teams/games to play if you want to add the 3rd team.
Even though the Tigers do have a good offense, they struggle on the road averaging only 4.0 runs a game (compared to 4.6 overall) and are hitting only .243 on the road (also .244 at night). They are cold lately, averaging only 3.6 rpg in their last 10.
Tommy Hunter isn't just off to a hot start, he's got a nice arsenal including a GREAT curveball and will have a solid career in the majors. He should be solid again to night, and even after he exits the game, the rangers have the advantage over the Tigers bullpen.
The Rangers have hit much better at home with an avg of 5.4 rpg and a .271 team batting avg. They should provide Hunter with just enough run support off Galarraga who has been hot.
Backing all these trends is some late line movement, even though the public has been steady around 80% on Texas all day, the line has shot up considerably in the last few hours. I think they get it done tonight. :toast:
