First off, amazing day. Great run. That is some serious cash.

But honestly, how much of your roll is at play each night? I think I quickly counted $4g today on all kinds of action as I read down the list of your bets. If you're betting your entire roll every day, of course on a good day you'll hit big, which you have obviously done today, but on the bad days you can lose 90% of your roll, which I'm sure was part of the process that brought you down to $300.

I suppose 1 week swings of $10G+ is what happens.

That being said, I think you should slow down man. Now that you got that sweet $13g, I don't care what your limits are that's a lot of green. Get yourself a nice system going, drop a steady $200/game or something, stay disciplined, and earn a consistent profit!

Biggz please please pleaseeee take some advice from me even though you dont know me and are prolly wondering who the f**k i am... but ive seen this TOO MANY TIMES BEFORE...

Tone down your wager amounts.

You are now betting more per game than you even had in your entire account just 8 days ago. This run will not last forever, you will hit a funk, its simply the law of averages. By downsizing your bets, when that run does come, you wont lose nearly as much as you won on this streak. Seriously consider doing this, and if/when you do start losing, DO NOT CHASE, keep your head above water, and just keep grinding with smaller bet amounts that will allow your bankroll to be able to endure long losing streaks. Gl with whatever you choose to do :toast:

I encourage others who agree with this post to reinforce this message, this strategy helps many gamblers long term

I appreciate the feedback from everyone. I have considered slowing down a bit. Its not necessarily what got me down to $300 because I only deposit usually $100-$200 at a time for some action as I just had a kid and couldn't really fork out for my hobby (Sports Betting & Poker). I agree I need to slow down for sure and will do so. I certainly do hope the run continues but again I know the bet amounts should be level and smaller. And sweetland I will be sure to post my exact plays prior to games starting.

Well I see I'm not the only one.....except it wasn't online BJ, it was casino BJ. Hit a really really really.... and one more, really, bad run over the past week. Lost a lot of money. I MEAN A LOT! Won't say how much, but it is in the five figures. Feel absolutely sick about it.

Well, I'm glad to say I don't live in Vegas (I'm assuming that you do) -- I live in Georgia, but I work in a state with a nearby casino (I was there last night - made about $200 - which is a rare event).

I'm sorry to hear about your loss as well. With Sportsbook.com casino, I try to win $1 at a time, and use Martingale strategy, which works great if you don't lose more than 8-9 in a row. But I've hit 20-loss runs which have cost me thousands.

Last weekend, I had $7000 in my bankroll at Sportsbook, having slowly, and using sound management strategy, made from $700 over the previous 2 weeks, and pulling out $1K (paid), $2k (paid), and $4K (pending). Everything was great.

My mistake was that I had put more money than I should have on the Yankees at -300 on Saturday - $600 to be exact, plus another $200 on the -1.5RL. Saturday plays have been generally problematic, and I should have known better. The Yankees started sinking fast. I decided to see if I could make the money I was going to lose back with BJ. I had already played BJ several times over the week, and made a couple of thousand that way. That was just to sucker me in.

Well, I kept losing. And losing. And pressing. And losing.

Long story short(er), I lost the $7000, cancelled my $4K pull, and over the following 2 hours got my balance back to $10K - just $1K shy of my balance before I did the $K pull. I thought I would play just a little more to get that back.

Big mistake.

Lost the $10K, bought in for another $1K, lost that.

If I had just stayed off for the rest of the day, I would have actually made a couple hundred for the day from the other sports plays.

I deserve to be flogged - not just for letting online BJ get the best of me, but for failing to realize that I had abandoned a sound money strategy with sportsbetting. Here I was, agonizing over whether to make a $100 play for a gabbana dog, and then just a few hours later thinking nothing about betting two $450 hands on a blackjack gaming system that may or may not be totally clean anyway.

I wish I could say it's the first time I've been burned by BJ, but I have lost tens of thousands over the past 3 years. I have even emailed Sportsbook asking to be cut off from their online casino, so I won't even be tempted, but they won't do that - although they will happily shut off my access and refund the pennies left over if I tell them I have a gambling problem.

Anyway, didn't really want to take over a really upbeat thread with a crappy story - but maybe by putting this out there I can stay off the damn online casino.

One thing I learned about betting on baseball the hard way. If you can't win with a bankroll of $20 you can't win with a bankroll of $2,000.

I recently started with a $20 that is now $2k. I plan to keep it growing betting to win $500 in every game and hopefully reach 10k soon.
