Will an online book punish me for doing this?

The book is DSI. I got a $500 freeplay with them coming up and all I'm interested in is turning it into $500 cash.

If I divide the Bonus Play up into 16 parts, go 4team parlay on every single possibility on MLB ML's near even odds, I can guarantee myself ~80% of it back.

just use ML's in the parlays.

Make sure you read the specific Bonus Play rules.

They allow parlays like I said, but there's not exactly a rule saying "No funny business".

I'm just scared that online books can and have in the past just looked at whatever you do and say "That's against some random blah blah blah policy of ours" or whatnot and confiscate your freeplay. Like what sportsbook.com did with correlated parlays, but then again that's slightly different than what I'm attempting here.

I would have to say unofficially speaking (because I am not 100% certain) that IMHO you will get paid if they accept the bets but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for another bonus like that from them anytime soon.

Optimal return is around 60% on a +200, but I suppose at least that way I don't get on the DSI craplist vs. taking all 8 possibilities on a 3teamer.

This used to be OK at DSI/CRIS/ Bookmaker years ago, when I played there.

I think they won't even notice it.

The Oak/ Bos bet won't work too well for this. You need a dog bigger than +222 for this to work.

Pinny has -240/ +222

mtx suggests something like this:

500fp at DSI on Boston at +222 to win 1110

1110 at Pinny at -240 to win 462.50

that gives you 0 or 462 ( if Bos wins).

400ish for sure is better, IMO.

I used to sometimes do this with 3 teams, 8 ways, for 75% return, at times, often at CRIS books, no problem.

careful with baseball....rainouts, pitching changes, etc.

WNBA or CFL is safer for this in July.

Kind of funny you mention the rain in Baseball Doug. When I am making these crazy bets I go to www.weather.com and check out the hour by hour for that day. Rain heading in I skip the wager all together. There will be another opportunity arise on a sunny day!

When I read the Bonus Play rules at one of my books, it clearly states no ML favorites bigger than -200 allowed, so like somebody already said, read the fine print regarding rules on a Bonus Play wager.

Here are the rules on a Bonus Play at DSI. With those rules I would either use it on a moneyline on MLB or NHL.

1. Bonus Plays can only be wagered on:

 • • Football (NFL / NCAA)
 • • Basketball (NBA / NCAA / WNBA)
 • • Major League Baseball
 • • NHL
 • • Soccer

2. The minimum deposit eligible to apply for a Bonus Play is $300 (it may vary according to the promotion).

3. They can be used only on straight wagers, parlays and teasers.

4. When a customer wins a Bonus Play, he receives the win amount only.

5. Ties lose.

6. All Bonus Plays are subject to a rollover of the deposited amount. A player must complete the required rollover prior to taking a payout.

7. Maximum payout for any Bonus Play is $5000.

8. Maximum bonus awarded is $500.

9. Bonus Plays can only be used on major sports and cannot be used on prop bets. For football and basketball, Bonus Plays can only be applied to spread and total lines; money lines are not allowed. On NHL and baseball, Bonus Plays can be used for money lines and totals. On Soccer, Bonus Plays can only be used on spreads and totals; 3 way lines (money line) are not allowed.

10. Bonus Plays are not automatic . Customer has 24 hours to request a Bonus Play after the deposit is made.

11. If a Bonus Play is used in a specific wager whose outcome is a push or a tie, the Bonus Play is lost.

Dumb rule, but you should never put yourself into a pushable situation.
