Seems like any day the Yanks and/or the Sox drop games the bankrolls of 75% of the regs on here get wiped out.

The mentality of "I'd rather assure myself of winning a little bit by putting a unit on favs vs. risking a high chance of losing that unit to get a nicer return" shouldn't be the underlying philosophy of your bets.

I've been punished too many times betting beyond my means on -150 odds and above trying to win an easy unit. The lesson has been further pounded concretely into me after crashing half my roll too many times trying to chase my losses by betting huge on the favs to try to get it all back.

There's just too much juice. Not enough bettors give proper respect to the juice.
