How do you find old posts/threads?

I was looking for a thread that I started on here and I can only go back 70 posts and I know it a little bit longer than that. How do I go about pulling them up?

It was an old thread regarding Auto insurance. Got some good advice and needed to see some things in there.

Viking is the expert at it! That guy is good.

Really, just using 'advanced search' and playing around with it trying
different key words and options will usually get you what you want.

If you can remember certain things about the post especially the thread
title and remembering what forum it was posted in, that helps
