for you Phillie Phans. You trade for last year's Cy Young winner - they didn't give up any of the players that the Jays wanted in doing so -- So now go out and trade for Halladay. You win the WS again this year, you get both pitchers back next year, win the WS again, then sign one to a long term deal and get 2 draft picks for the other --you will still be good and replenish your farm some with 3 first rounders.

3 straight World Series and a good team for 4-5 years or 3 or 4 more prospects lost? HMMMMMM, let me think about that.

Phillies fucked up by not making this deal. I gotta think they win the World Series with Lee and Halladay this year. They could've signed Halladay for a long term deal and kept Lee one more year and probably won again and then let Lee walk and take 2 first rounders to replenish what they lost to get Halladay. No brainer and especially now after completing the deal.
