basically i start off betting on a team i dont think will get swept. I have to like the game 1 matchup alot, or the 2nd game has to be an overwhelming matchup that i like.
for example, i chased the boston ml with smoltz on the mound in game 1. smoltz has sucked, but he was only a small favorite, and in game 2 i had josh beckett pitching, so it was worthy of a play.
i try not chase any teams that start over -160 in the 1st game, as it can get really expensive if they lose the 1st game or 2.
so each chase is to win $50, so say a team is -110 for each game of a series.
game 1- bet $55/50 (if they win, im done with the series)
game 2- betting to win $105 (55 i lost from game 1 and the $50 profit i want). if they win game 2, im done again.
game 3- repeat.
