Often times they are out of balance on a particular play and your wager may put them back in a more balanced position so they will allow it. Also, keep in mind you can bet once the line moves. For instance if you got $250 down on the favorite at -184 and then it moved to say -190, you could put another $250 on it. Yes you pay a little more, but you have the option. actually i'm doing okay w/ men's tennis..up 22 units ytd.
but down over 133 units on the whores (wta).
net 22-133=-111 units overall in tennis...horrible..i'm thinking of not betting on wta after this year..

were a paraly w/ davydenko and haas 16.37 units to win 10 units.
another parlay w/ chardy and ferrero 5 units to win 6.11 units.
and lastly a parlay w/ serena,venus and dementieva 10 units to win 10.31
units.
5 unit parlay already a loser.

the tournament in istanbul has killed me this week. 0/4 on parlays.
huge upsets there this week. stanford has been better as the chalk has been winning.
I am limited to $10 on some plays...and these are "lottery" type plays such as picking a golfer to win at 300-1 when he is 10 stokes back. Can't unerstand their logic in low limits on plays where they have such a large advantage. I could understand a new shop wanting to cap losses, but 5dimes has been around forever and you'd think they'd have the reserves to take a hit or two knowing in the long run they can't possibly lose.

they cut me at golf a ew years ago after I went on a red hot tear all summer. they saved me money because I went real cold afterwards ( Ive been insanely streaky at golf) but 5dimes didnt get most of their money back because the scared rabbitts cut my limits so I had to play elsewhere
