What you have to understand is that this is a handicapping forum, so people are going to vent when they lose their money. Just like a salesman might vent when he loses a sale, or someone who owns stocks might vent if he gets his ass kicked in the market. It's human nature.
Personally, I don't see the harm in it. It's not a fan forum, so people shouldn't get upset if someone talks trash about a particular player or team. I've been a fan of the Mariners my whole life, but if they blow a game I'm sure as hell not going to get upset at someone for raking them over the coals for blowing it.

im not saying people cant vent, but sometimes its just so over the top and you get 10 threads about the same thing lately. lets be honest, the 4th person to go off about the same subject, whatever the person has to say is probably not so earth shattering that it deserves its own thread.
take for example aj burnett getting rocked today, lately you would have 4-5 threads talking about how much of a bum he is or doesnt deserve his salary, yet hes probably been the best pitcher for the last month+. that is the shit that has been getting old lately

all the off the wall threads and posts i would imagine. honestly from what i remember from football last yr, he was not even very good at football. I think baseball stressed him out and he couldnt cope outside of making a billion threads when his team went down by as little as 1-0 in the 2nd inning
I see what you're saying. It probably does go too far sometimes. A great pitcher who has one bad start becomes "a gascan" or a great hitter who has a bad game is "overrated." Yeah, you're right about seeing posts like that.

It's true that I'm pissed because I was on the Tigers and he blew the save, but in all honestly I've never been a big fan of his. He could have closed the game out and I still wouldn't have many good things to say about him.
i still remember the kershaw is a fucking bum thread. going off about how bad he is and his bet was ruined. i go to espn expecting the dodgers to be down like 7 early and its like 1-0 other team in the bottom of the 2nd with the dodgers batting. Dodgers end up winning like 6-2 and he goes 7+ strong. What is the purpose of threads like that, i mean atleast wait until your team has a quality impload like the brewers last night or when they give up 10 runs in 1st inning like cuerto did before u go on a huge rant
