Looks like a solid card.

D-Backs line looks completely off. Garland continues to be undervalued.

Toronto looks very cheap.

Odd makers did a very good setting the Yankees line, really not giving any value.

Cubs being overvalued. Ricky has been down right dirty especially at home, Dempster struggling.

Share your thoughts. I'll add more.

Good idea to get a thread like this going, as the time to talk about and exploit the market is when it is at its most ineffecient. Having said that, given the current quality of posts and demographics of the MLB forum, and a sensical thread like this may fall by the wayside here.

Tommorrows card does look decent. Betting Sunday's games on the overnight in general can be very advantageous and/or dangerous due to teh simple notion that there are more backups in the lineup on Sundays compared to any given day. This is where research and anticapation of the projected lineups can really pick off value off the open.

I am going to have to disagree with you on your DBacks assesment. I had the Dbacks med/large yesterday and had the Mets small today. Tommorrow I will probably have the Mets small/medium. I think the market is finally starting to correctly value Garland and their bearish sentiment on Pelfrey may be a tad overboard.

I had a position on the White Sox in all three of the first games of the series. Typically if a team is undervalued 3 straight games against another team, they are likely to be undervalued again. But here I agree with you. In fact, I see small value on the Yankees, and I think the market will bid them up more up to the close.

I was somewhat suprised to see oddsmakers put the Cubs/Marlins at even money on the open given the way Nolasco has been playing, the way the Marlins have been playing, and the way Dempster looked in his first start coming off the DL. I valued the game at Marlins -111/Cubs +111, and prior to the lines coming out, was anticpating I was going to have a bet on the Cubs.

Best of luck.

Thanks.

It amazes how a large amount of people on the forum don't use the forum to their advantage and exchange thoughts , analysis, opinions.

I may of used the wrong word when i said any value on Yankees. I see some and was hoping it would get bid down to make a decent amount wager on it.

Surprised that you disagree with the D-Backs.

Hm I'm not seeing where the value is on the Yanks.. -140 on the road to a pitcher with a more wins, fewer losses, better overall ERA, and has been close to unhittable the last few times out? Seems like getting the ChiSox at plus money is where the value is at, until C.C. pitches like he did down the stretch last season

I like the Jays with Romero against the A's tomorrow their lineup is a joke without Holliday.

Cards -1.5 against a pitcher who is 4-9 in AAA looks money

Absolutely agree with that one, and already placed my bet on Fla.
Aramis Ramirez left todays game and it doesn't look like he'll play tomorrow. He's what makes the Cubs go in my opinion, and they took off once he returned to the lineup a couple weeks back.

I'm liking Florida tomorrow with Dempster struggling and Aramis probably not playing.

You have to look more into the match-ups. Buehrle's history and Yankees success against him. The degree of lineup difficulty.

CC should get through these White Sox hitters comfortably and keep them under control. All their power comes from the left side of the plate which they don't hit lefties hard. Andy Pettitte who wasn't in good form easily handed them.

I think Red Sox at -170 is a steal. Yeah I know Clay Bucholz is on the mound but look at the Orioles and Jason Berken has been downright awful for them. 0-8 in last 11 starts in with Red Sox coming to town it doesn't get any easier for him. I hopped all over this line right away.

I'm a Sox fan and for some reason I have a bad feeling about this game... Im gonna wait to see the lineups I kind of like the over here the Sox could destroy Berken and I also think the O's can get some runs of Clay. 10 runs is a lot though.. I just dont think Clay has shown that he deserves to be a favorite of -170 on the road yet even against a pitcher as awful as Berken

Not a good ball park or match-up for him with him coming back from the minors. Especially when Rangers showed good plate disciple by passing up on the good breaking stuff. Possibly a over bet here if the vig is at +110 or more.

I jumped on the Yanks at-129 this afternoon because i knew it would go up. I can't believe the W/S can take four straight from them and i knew most people would feel the same way. There's the embarrassment factor and Boston is creeping up awfully fast.

I would be fucking shocked if Wainwright doesnt pick up the W tomorrow afternoon against the Stros their lineup just isnt the same without Berkman and their pitcher is making his first career start and its on the road in St Louis
