I know the Giants are a different team on the road but I view this as a huge pitching mismatch. Cain is a cy young candidate while I view Hampton as one of the worst in the business. And I can get -128 for Cain?

What am I missing here?

just to play devil's advocate.

giants 21-31 on the road

astros 28-25 at home

possible letdown on the road after home series win against philly

line moving toward houston.

I know that's why I'm confused, I see the line moving toward Houston and I don't get why! I could understand if it was SF -150, but -130 seems like a slam dunk to me for the pitching matchup.

I don't know why but I like the Astros. Maybe it's because I live in Houston.

One last thing to worry about the Giants, they are 1-6 in last seven visits to Houston.

Hope is not a strategy.

Hampton has pitched consistently better at home. I'm playing Stros +1.5.

A little more info on the game/play:

On Monday the Power system play is on the Sanfrancisco Giants.Game 907 at 8:05 eastern. The Giants fit a solid system tonight that has not lost over the past 6 years. What we want to do is play against certain home dogs like the Houston Astros that are off road dog wins of 2 or more runs if they score 2 or less runs. This system is rare. However going against these home dogs and playing on the road favorite has cashed every time, winning by an average 5-1 score. On top of the system the Giants have a huge pitching edge with Matt Cain tonight.Cain has an incredible 2.27 road era this year.Over his past 3 starts he has a 0.78 era all of which were wins. The Ginats have cashed 16 of his 21 starts overall this year.To make matters worse for Houston.M.Cain has pitched better overall in the month of August then any other month.Even through his rough stretches over the past few years Cain has managed a 12-6 record in August with a solid 2.82 era.By far his best.Houston is countering with lefty M.Hampton tonight.Hampton has pitched well in his first full season without injury. However the Astros have lost 6 of his 9 home starts as Hampton has struggled with a 5.04 home era.In his last 3 starts it appears Hampton has hit a wall.He is 0-3 with a 9.97 era getting shelled last out allowing 9 runs in 4 innings. With Houston averaging under 3 runs per game over their last seven games and the Giants 7-3 vs losing teams in the second half, theres only one way to go here.Take the Giants tonight.Play for 3 units at -130 or less bol GC

Giants lineup just makes me sick,Benji Molina batting 4th for like 4 years now,can t they get anyone better?but Cain is the man so hopefully they can score atleast 2 runs for him, that maybe all he needs.
