I think it's a shoe in that AP is the #1 pick, but there's a pretty big drop off after that. Who would you draft second, and why?

Personally, I think I'd go with Deangelo Williams, Forte, even if Williams is splitting time.

I'd say it depends if the league gives points per receptions... If the league does, I like MJD.

I hate the #2 pick this year. Call me crazy but I'll take LT if dealt that pick. You guys can think he's going down hill because of one injury plagued season but I know better.

Really? Wow, that's shocking to hear to say the least. I think I'll have LT on my do not draft list.

I'd put Forte ahead of anyone else... for sure. I don't think Turner is nearly as good this year and I don't trust the split in Carolina.

Things that scare me about Forte is the switch to passing more with Cutler and Orlando Pace being a much better pass protector than run mauler at this point in his career.

Play in a high stakes nine team league. Ninth team was going to drop out for a season but has now decided to play so I am stuck with the second pick instead of getting to take Peterson with the first pick. Really has me all fucked up. Guess I am gonna have to take Forte or MJD.

The thing about Forte is that Cutler is now there and I see Cutler forcing alot more passes downfield. I think Forte's receptions go way down this year. Last year Orton would often just dump a pass off to Forte when he was in trouble. I am not saying I don't like Forte I am just saying I would put a few guys ahead of him.

My top 10 Fantasy picks would be in this order

1 - Peterson
2 - MJD
3 - Turner
4 - Jackson
5 - Forte
6 - LT
7 - Williams
8 - Gore
9 - C. Johnson
10 - Portis

I think Jackson will be huge this year. It kills me not to put Westbrook on that list but with the injury I would take any of these 10 ahead of him. Westbrook would be a great pick in the second round and maybe rounds 7-10 you could grab McCoy for insurance.

MJD is on my do not draft list. He's too small, and eventually his body will wear down; IMO.

Just for fun here is my next 10 picks

11 - Moss
12 - Slaton
13 - Fitzgerald
14 - A. Johnson
15 - Westbrook
16 - C. Johnson
17 - Jacobs
18 - R. Brown
19 - Barber
20 - S. Smith

You could throw in Brees and Brady next I just don't like wasting my first few rounds on QB's. I would try to get Rodger's, McNabb, Warner, Rivers, Scaub in Round 5

I don't consider Steven Jackson a 1st round pick. His line is shot to hell.

Slaton is a 1st Round lock.

It's hard to imagine the coaching staff not capitalizing on one of Forte's greatest strengths, but they reportedly would rather most of Forte's touches come via hand-off. Backup Kevin Jones, whose role is slated to expand, is another smooth pass catcher and may cut into Forte's passing-down snaps. Forte finished his rookie season with 63 catches, the most by any NFL back.

wow slaton has been going high from what I have seen.. I definitely think Jackson has a big bounceback year they are committed to making him the center of their offense. Line does suck though
