Thinking about putting a decent wager on Johan tonight. Pineiro pitching great this season as well and the Cards offense is loaded now with Holliday now aboard. Johan is a beast at home though and the Cards offense hasn't turned in a great outing in 5 games.
Mets offense has a .281 clip over 146 ABs against Pineiro. Pineiro is 2-0 with a 0.86 ERA post-All Star Break though. Hasn't let up more than 3 runs in any of his last 10 games. Has gotten 8, 5, and 7 runs support his last 3 road starts.
Johan 8-2 with a 1.69 ERA at home. 2-1 with a 2.18 ERA post-All Star Break. Cards offense .203 BA over 123 AB. Johan's won his last 3 in a row at home.
Too be honest most signs point to an under with two stud pitchers going on the mound but I hate playing unders
