You basically only have 24 outs, whereas the road team gets 12.5% more outs - 27, to do so. AND you gotta be up by 2 to boot. That is ROUGH.
(This is ignoring 2run walkoffs in the bottom of the 9th and extras of course, but come on now... that can't be seriously relied upon.)
