i expect the padres to be competitive thruout this game. big step down in competition after facing vazquez yesterday. the padres are playing solid baseball recently and hanson is allowing way too many base runers since his start vs sf when he had his season high in strikeouts. and the fact that atlanta scored 0 runs in his last two starts doesn't help his cause.
