Yes he'll retire a Colt, but his counterpart Brady will not retire a Patriot.

Patriots like to stay on top of the game similar to the way the 49ers did it back in the 80's/90's.

People thought Montana would retire as a 49er. Brady will end up with another team in a couple years or when his contract is up. What is he 31 or 32 now? I say by 35 he is gone.

I think Montana was let go Because the 49ers had a QB of Young.

Pats traded their Key Back-up this year.....So Unless they get someone Good, I don't see Brady going anywhere. IMO

That's the key right there. I do believe (depending on how he performs this season) that they'll start to consider drafting a QB in the very near future. A late rounder like the did with Brady.

Well they don't have Parcells (Master of the draft) to draft those late rounders anymore. Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round and has had an incredible career. We won't see a QB drafted in the 6th round with 3 super bowl rings anytime soon. If they are serious about finding a replacement anytime soon (which I think is a ridiculous statement) then they will have to draft one well before the 6th round.

My favorite quarterback. It just wouldn't seem right if he wasn't playing for the Colts. Hope he retires as one.

His legacy aint shit. He will be remembered to me as going 0-4 vs Fla in college and blowing chunks time after time in the playoffs. When the finally did win it was becuase of a dream draw and defense.

manning will retire a colt after he plays eli in the big game. Thats the only reason why he didn't want to goto SD(eli) because his greedy father wanted to see both of his sons play in the super bowl. pretty petty if you ask me.

I say yes........He just doesn't seem like a guy who feels he would have to go anywhere else to try & prove anything more & will be 100% satisfied with what he accomplishes as a Colt....

Colts | Peyton Manning to make 206th consecutive start

Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning will make his 206th consecutive start in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, reports Bob Kravitz, of the Indianapolis Star. Now that Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre's streak is snapped at 297 games, Manning is the closest pursuer. "I haven't done the numbers," Manning said. "I really haven't thought about that. I'm on a year-at-a-time basis."
