BetJamaica - Tournament Blackjack

Anyone played this before?
Is it part of BetJamaica or are they just using this service?


Pretty pissed - I am a new member to BetJamaica, and wanted to try it out, so to see how the game worked I signed up for a "mano a mano" tourney which is 1 on 1 for 10 hands.


Was winning going into last hand, placed my bet, and it came up wrong (I bet 500, said I bet 100) - i did this with 12 seconds on the betting clock.

other guy bet max b/c he was losing - we both won the hand, he won the tourney.

i emailed support asking why it bet wrong and i said i "timed out" so it bet 100. but this is flat out wrong.

I'm not going to complain - but pretty annoying and was curious if anyone else has experience with them.

They said they would not refund anything beacuse "they had to pay the winner, so if they refunded me, they'd be losing money"

I guess I was just disappointed b/c I would assume with a new customer, you might bite the bullet to make someone happy...

You probably did time out or got temporarily disconnected. What mano a mano game were you playing? If it wasn't for that much then just let it go, who cares.

it was a 40 dollar tourney - so an 80 dollar swing in terms of account balance.

by no means is this amount of money worth causing a huge ruckus.

my question was more of:
who has used this? is it legit? part of betjamaica?

as i said - i would think as a company, in order to keep customers happy, etc.. they'd give a better explanation then "we're losing money if we reimburse you"

My advice would be to stay out of the casinos in the sportsbook period. Even the tourny blackjack makes me suspicious. I am sure there are realy players out there in the tourny but also drones or whatever to take your money.

I've played it for fun here there but I wouldn't waste too much money there.

i have had occasional problems there as well...its a service that betjam uses.....

people from other places are there too...

I have had issues at times with bet amount as well...u have to be very careful the software has a couple of glitches...if other player times out and gets a 100 bet, and you hit "last bet" which means you are betting the same amount that YOU BET the last hand, it will often give you 100 bet as well, no matter what your last bet was.....

also one time i clicked bet max, and it bet 100 for me....

i didnt have much luck with their CS, btu when i contacted Betjam and asked them to contact them on my behalf, Scotty took care ofit..

but overall, its pretty decent...the tourneys are pretty good....jsut have to be careful with the software..

thanks guys - i just tried it last night as i was new to BetJam (just funded my account yesterday)

figured i'd give it a shot and try it out - but obviously was not very happy with the outcome.
