Gotta like the value here at +180. Sabathia has been one of the most overvalued pitchers all year, and the Red Sox kill lefties. I cant see CC doing any better than 4 ER in 6 IP. As for Buchholz, I see him as hit or miss, he'll either have a very solid outing or put up numbers similar to what I expect from CC, so this game seems like a coinflip... and at +180 I think I'm gonna play the SAWX in the morning.

Seriously? It is not a coin flip. I would risk betting on the bosox but it definitely is not a coin flip.

A coin flip?
Sabathia has won double digit games every season since he was a pro.
Bucholtz lifetime record is 6-11 with a ridiculously high ratio of .167 and equally ridiculous 5.64 ERA.
You're comparing that to a Cy Young award winner?

Red Sox were out hit in game 1, out pitched in game 2.
Yankees have won five straight, Red Sox have lost four straight.
Now, if you want to wager on the Sox based on the 'they are due to win theory', knock yourself out, but I can show you many a bankroll that has been dented because of the 'they are due' theory.

Good luck never the less.

I think there is better value at NYY -1.5 +100
NYY are 46-29 v RHP and 57-32 as a fave.
NYY are 11-1 in their last 12 home games.
Bucholtz ain't Santana, Sabathia or Halladay.

Mo Vaughn, I mean David Ortiz press confrence will add to his distraction today.

I am with the -1.5 also. sox bullpen has pitched 2 extra inn games in the last 4 days. CC steps up and continues the sox horrible horrible RISP numbers

I have to agree with the others. I know the "experts" seem to think Buchholz will have a great career, but thus far he has been a gascan. Having said that, if this were the final game of 3-game series I would probably be on the Sox simply for sweep avoidance. But since there is another game tomorrow, I will lay off.

I think the over is probably the best play in this one. Neither pitcher particularly impresses me. I see a lot of runs being scored, especially with both bullpens being taxed after last night's game.
