I love the UFC. I've been a fan since that shit first came out back in '93.. I think silva will win tonight but i can't give u a good reason why. I'm just going off my gut feeling, but it's made me money in the UFC.

Silva is gonna win but the number almost dictates a bet on Griffin.

Silva is fighting up a weight class against a guy who beat Rampage at longer odds. Last time Silva fought at 205 was against James Irvin who took a fall and even if he didn't he was a bitch and easy to beat.

The point being if you are betting just to give you a reason to watch take the dog. The number is good and he has a shot at a win.

Griffin has the value on the betting odds. Silva has a better chance of winning though not considering the odds. Silva is overvalued.

A much better bet on a similarly priced favorite is Matt Riddle.

Griffin has a chin that seems to be built of steel, as most of you know who have seen him fight.

That alone always gives him an excellent chance......

Bet Griffin...

If you need some action bet of the night is under 3 1/2 rds in the Main Event between Penn/Flroian.

I'm not convinced on his chin. He's been knocked out before (Jeremy Horn) and has been knocked on his ass and rocked good on more than one occasion (Rashad Evans, Rampage Jackson, Keith Jardine).

I think a big part of why Forrest is deemed to have that good chin has to do with his technical boxing. It's the shots that you don't see coming that cause the knockouts and Forrest keeps a great base and doesn't take many chances standing. He does not go for the knockout blow and can watch his opponent better and not get clipped.

In other words, I don't feel Forrest's chin belongs in the same conversation with Dan Henderson, BJ Penn, Rampage Jackson, etc etc.

I think that's a horrible bet.

Both guys lack top level takedowns and both have been happy to stand and trade in recent fights. Both guys lack big time KO power so I could see a standup fight that easily drags into the 4th or 5th. Both guys have great submission defense and both have excellent chins. I don't see this one going under.

I parlayed kenny/forrest and am getting 11 to 1. Hopefully both dogs can pull an upset tonight.
