Not a chance. He throws way too many pitches. Usually only lasts somewhere between 4 and 6 innings forcing the bullpen to pick up the slack.

he's only like 22, give him time. His main issues are control and consistency, once he develops those he'll be lights out. WHen he's on, he's on and his stuff is nasty. A lot of potential with Kershaw.

8/23/2011:

Kershaw (16-5) is 8-1 with a 1.21 ERA in his last nine starts and hiked his NL-leading strikeout total to 207.

Is this a joke? He's pitched less than 6.0 innings in just 3 starts out of his 26 this season. He averages 7.1 IP per start and is #10 in IP this season (after the 6 IP he went tonight/last night he will be #6).

Another horrible opinion by me. My apologies.

He's moving up the ladder.

Climbing the ladder
Tuesday is the 268th start of Kershaw’s career, breaking his tie with Bob Welch for 13th-most in Dodgers franchise history. Up next is Nap Rucker at 274 starts. Kershaw could realistically move into the top 10 by season’s end. Tenth place is currently occupied by Hall of Fame pitcher Burleigh Grimes, who started 287 games for Brooklyn from 1918-1926.
