Well after 2 humiliating Sundays in a row ill attempt today to make it 3 in all likelihood.
Only 1 big tourny today so far, The Donkament (how fitting) at Absolute. 50K MTT for VIPs. Less than 600 entered right now.
Need a late run in the worst way. Thought i had 1 yesterday in a 54K mtt at Stars. Had an above avg stack with about 85 left out of 5400, then got it in with the best hand 3 straight times and lost all 3. the 1st 1 would have put me in the top 5 but my A9 couldnt beat KQ in a 180K chip pot so im still firmly in the Depression era and need a stimulus package!!!!

Looking at the Stud event at Full Rigged but doubtful im gonna throw away the $200 entry fee. May try a satty into the $215 FL Omaha hi/lo at Stars...(<)<

GL ppp, I havent played a tourny in forever, might jump in one today. Been running OK at the cash. My basic run goes like this, play, run into 2-3 huge bad beats, grind it back up, stop 2 hours later up 10 bucks. Thats how its been like the last 3 sessions anyways. I have ran into some unreal beats lately, although I think I have really improved being able to just shrug em off and move on. Some of the highlights....

2x in the last day I have had exact same PP, got the money in on the flop and lost to runner runner flush card

AA vs AK on a flop of 2 2 9 rainbow, guy pushed I snap call and turn river go 2 2 for the split

Big 3 in a row.....beautifully rigged 2 hands i played. 2 hands and 10K player points flushed down the drain, never had a chance. 2 totally set up hands that were unfoldable and im out.
Will a sheet hanging off a shower rod hold 170lbs?????? Maybe the ceiling fan huh???

.2nd hand played today....Now let me see if i have this straight....People actually win money at this??????? Even though they are a 99% dog against any 2 cards they are up against? This makes at least 9 hands in a row in 3 days that i lost as a huge fav ....and like 7 of them on the river , 2 with straights after they had nothing.

I know it sucks PPP, i think you just have to be numb to it, I get so many beats like this that I feel like I have made major headway in just shrugging them off. Yesterday finally most my hands held up and I had a nice day, which I felt had to be coming. I think I was up something like 25/100 BB which is super high considering around 5/100 BB is pretty darn good.

Personally its the reason I have adapted to mostly playing cash games over the donkaments

I wish i could do that consistently. Im a pure streak shooter and once on tilt it takes me months to recover. I can tell you exactly when this streak started. When p.o.69 and myself won those 2 seats to that $330 tourny. I played perfectly the entire tourny...im not talking good im talking PERFECT. I got no cards for the 1st 2 hours but i picked my spots and kept an avg stack. Finally with about 100 to the money i started getting some hands and building a stack. 1 seat to my right was a ranked played fresh off a $300k score, i cud be wrong but i know it was alot. He's raising every hand as we get to the bubble..Im getting hands so i start reraising him with them, Never showing anything but a top 5 hand yet...
He's got a huge stack but im gaining ground. With 5 left to the money ($600, peanuts to him but half a world to me ) im in about say 21st place. He raises as usual and i have AKs, i shove and everybody folds ...but him. He goes into the tank for like 30 secs and calls with fucking AJos....To this day that son of a bitch has never seen me with a hand worse than pocket 10's and that low life calls me with AJos....This sorry bastard wipes his ass with $500 bills and gambles like that to put me out of $600....J on the fucking flop and that bastard finished like 5th for more money than i make in a year and i got the doughnut....0
Now had the next day i hung on to win a few bucks in something else i might have gotten over it but instead it started ANOTHER string of suckouts that has lasted now over 60 days straight....I still think about that every damn day and every time i get another suckout its like a movie playing over in my head....GroundHog its fuck me Day.
I dont know how to put it behind me......

I feel your pain, you ever thought of maybe just playing cash? I am convinced it just takes so much freakin luck to win a tourny, especially huge ones, I just haven't been bothering with them as of late

Anybody folds any A in a hand with me at ANY point in the hand just hates money..

Without the Aces it comes to 5 Wins and 32 Losses as a fav when the chips went in with pocket pairs.

Doyle says in his book that he bet 2 guys his 22 against their AK. He says they came back 2 more times after he whipped them the 1st time and he beat them all 3....All i want to know is how?

I had a first tonight, played cash game for 2 hours, in that time I lost with AA 2 times, KK once, QQ once, AK 4 times and small pp about 20 times it felt and still ended up ahead 5.98/100 bb.

Now of course what pisses me off is if JUST the AA holds up both times I am up like 15 bb if not more, throw in the others and who knows....

I lost with AA to 34os. Guy hits 3's on the turn and river.

This is against 1 of the foreigners on the Stars win list. On the hand before this 1 he went all in with 99 against AJ and after a flop of AJx he got a 9 on the river for the double up. Thats what the chat is about, they are about to give him a monster stack ....This is the very next hand.. He went from avg stack to top 10 in 2 hands and he'll cash for a few thousand dollars...

On a side note i played a tourny at AB last night, lost with 4 to the money with AQ vs 88. Interestingly enough i had AQ 6 times and won none . I had about 8 pocket pairs and won everyone of them that went to showdown..

Yes it is true he had more than 2 outs but only 4 would give him the 100% nuts. Doesnt change that my 61 day losing streak continues...
