as one of there biggest fans...did u expect anything else at this point...it looked shakey at the start of the season but with the players they have they are right where they r supposed 2 be...its a marathon not a sprint...still though this series was awesome and one 4 history...where else in baseball do u get this excitement in august..:>Grin>
I heard harold reynolds saying right after the martinez trade that it would hurt bostons team chemistry and i thought that was hogwash. But Bostons series vs the rays was pathetic and this offensive showing against the yankees was the saddest ive seen in years.
I think the yanks run away with this thing now and maybe win it by double digits. Just think If Arod, and Posada hadent missed all that time. Matsui has been hurt too and they pretty much have this division wrapped up 2/3 into the season. IF they had Nady too they would be flat out scary. Got to give them a big hats off. I still think they need one more arm to go all the way. Gauden is not that arm.
