I cant sleep.Please Help.

Hi,my the left side of my throat hurts real bad when I swallow.It started hurting 2 days ago in the day time.It has persistantly gotten worse.Ive been gargling chloraseptic,taking cough drops,throat drops,I just took three Tyenol,nothing is working.Please,if anyone knows a cure for this or what may be the cause of it,Please let me know.Thanks (PS ,I dont have any stronger pain killers or liquer.)

Now I just heated up some lemon juice ,drank it,heated up some more and gargled it,then drank some more.Still hurting terrible.Please help if you know anything,somebodys gotta be up.

Add a few teaspoon of salt in warm water and gargle with it. Works wonders.

Wait another 3 months Obama will have some health care for you. But really you need to go to the hospital and have it check if your in that kind of pain. If you have an infection you might not make 3 months.

i wouldnt freak out yet....your probably about to come down with a cold.....maybe slept with the fan blowing on ya? i know that did me in 3 weeks ago. fucked my throat all up then got sick

best thing is very strong black tea, and a spoon of salt...gargle 4-5 times a day, and you'll be aight blood.

1 part honey 1 part lemon juice 1 part water and one crushed tylenol

Boil water add and stir.

If your not better in one day... that means 3 days with some F'd throat and you have to go see a Dr.

As previously stated, you need to be seen. You need a strep test and a CBC (and possibly a mono test) if the strep test is negative.

The differential diagnosis includes (but is not limited to):
Strep
Peritonsilar abscess
Mono
