Rios just needed a change of scenery. With the tough love coach that WSox have, he's going to perform up to expectations. His strong arm is going to save a lot of runs for them.

JP has freed up $11M by moving Rolen for young arms and it looks like he’s been able to dump another $10M (next years salary) by moving Rios.

Yeah, I think this was a good move by the Jays by dumping that enormous salary. Rios has been underachieving, and is more detrimental in the clubhouse than beneficial. Good move for the future.

JP had to do somethign because he signed Rios and Wells to those crazy contracts and one had to go- If i was a TOR fan i would be hoping it was Wells!
