I want to withdraw the max. Sorry if these are dumb questions but how much is the tax on winnings?

You would file it with your regular income tax and pay at your normal rate. There is no "special' tax. Its just like if you reported an extra $3000 u got from selling snowballs outside ur house. Its just added income..

Thanks a lot man. I understand now. I know someone who won some money off the lotto and had to pay a lot of tax but I guess gambling is a bit different than winning the lotto.
