two "shitty" teams, but one team has been pretty consistently shitty, while the other has won 8 of their last 10 games and is averaging 6.1 runs a game over that period...and this team is getting +145. The pitching looks to be about a push to me..
washington has made me a bunch of money lately. They met their match against atlanta (which is understandable), but i think they go into cincy and give their hot-streak another little push. I'm just suprised that I haven't seen much discussion about this one on here yet, with the slim card tonight and all...this one really jumped out at me! thoughts?

well, both pitchers could give up a lot of runs to most teams, but in this matchup, it's the nats who have the live bats here.. cinci is only averaging 3.8 runs a game L10, with 6 losses. So if this thing goes over, which could definitely happen, it will be because the nats scored a lot of runs and won the game, and probably by 2 runs or more if the total goes over...and there are much better odds on the side than the total. You're looking at +145, or even +220 or so on the nats altRL..

so it is official...anything i EVER publicly endorse on here turns to shit, no matter how sound the logic..Should've been a 2-run hr in the first, and then the goddamn pitcher almost hits it out too! sorry for bringing my massive jinx down on the forum. should have called it a day after quietly pocketing philly and col RL today. But maybe if i give up on this one now, some kind of a reverse jinx can take hold..

I made the mistake of betting on them seeing that everyone was on them. Big mistake. My initial instinct was Reds. I only blame myself though.

At least you didn't risk $1000 like the guy from the Clock Block Lock of the day thread.

I've learned you simply can't trust the Nats. Either bet against them or don't bet at all.

I never bet them. I faded them for a while but I never bet on them. They are a shit team. The fact that they won 8 in a row is a miracle.

Except today cause everyone was on them and the Reds do suck.
