Falcons castoff Laurent Robinson could pick up some of the slack as well. The Rams can't be sure why, but Robinson so far has not resembled the disappointing prospect he became in Atlanta, where he frequently missed practices with injuries that didn't seem very serious.
A third-round choice in 2007, Robinson has good size (6-2, 197) and obvious talent. He also has a rare opportunity to revive his career.

He plays hoops with some regular joe's on the side to stay in shape.:):)

but in all seriousness.....here's hoping he has a break out year:drink:

Actually looks like Robinson has passed Burton on the depth chart. Curry is running with the 3rd team.

curry only joined the team like a week ago, so no surprise there, he put up stats for the raiders when they played him

Oh yeah Curry is a decent enough player. Wasn't trying to refute your point... just updating the current depth chart.

Rams just signed Ruvell Martin. Was Packers' No. 4 receiver, but was replaced by a younger guy who was better on special teams. Martin will be the Rams No. 1 before long.

very unfortunate news....

Rams wide receiver Laurent Robinson has a high ankle sprain and a fracture high on his fibula.
"He will pretty much be done, and he will require surgery,'' Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said.
Robinson leads the Rams in receiving this season with 13 catches for 167 yards and one touchdown.
