Watching these two teams, Calgary and Edmonton, go up and down the field with ease and little or no restriction at all, I've concluded that the offensive units on both sides of the ball are not nearly as good as the defensive units are pathetic. Both the Stampeder and Eskimoes defense couldn't stop a high school offensive squad tonight. Twenty-nine second quarter points alone is about as many points as some CFL halves are and to finish off, if the scoring continues this way throughout the final thirty minutes, both defensive units may indeed be exchanged for a pair of high school defensive units.
To be honest, it looks asolutely embarassing from a defensive standpoint.

it's 1 game and that happens. Its a shootout man and ya *defensively* its sad but this game was exciting to watch and the best game of the season so far. Watching the Eastern teams makes me wanna hang myself. As a stamps fan, i'm absolutely embarrassed right now because we should've won that game. Our Efense (yes Efense because there is no D) was awful tonight and with Labinjo hurt our run defense is terrible and i don't know if its going to get better. Whatever, as a football fan i'm extatic because that was an unbelievable game but as a Stamps fan, i'm pissed and disgusted at the same time. What a way to go into your bye week...

What a great ending to the game.

I had $$$ on the Stamps, but it was nothing serious. CFL is really growing on me.
