I really like Oakland -1 @-105 and -1.5 +143 here tonight: A's bats came alive recently (scored 6+ in 7 of their last 9 games), Contreras is struggling bigtime once again since the Allstar Break (finished the 6th inn. just once in hisl ast 5 and gave up 3+ runs in every game during that stretch).
The Sox offense isn't scoring right now (just 7 runs in 26 inn. @SEA), has been struggling on the road for the whole season and was shut down by Anderson during their 1st encounter this season.
Besides that, OAK leads the series 3-1 in 2009 (all 3 wins were by a differential of 2 or more runs) and these 4 games were played in CHW (like almost every MLB team, OAK and CHW have better home than road records).
Any thoughts about that game?
