Del Mar presents The John C. Mabee Stakes (Grade I) for fillies and mares 3 year olds and up running 1 & 1/8 miles on the turf for a purse of $350,000. Currently 10 are entered to start with post time scheduled for 8:30 EDT. This is an open thread with all opinions, thoughts, selections, discussion, whatever very much welcome. Best of luck

going with #8 visit with 1-3-6 exacta box using #8 as key and straight exactas and a trifecta key with #8 on top

Appears this race has two mares, Patricia's Gem and Tuscan Evening that will set and push the pace which should be honest. These two might hit the wall in the stretch, so looking for a quality closer.

Just got back from the bash and upfront I have to say this was a fun bash to attend.Also DelMar has to be the hardest track to cap since the switch to the Poly crap.

Here is what I like in the race:

Well comes in 3-7-6 and the $1 trifecta pays $129.60 not bad double my money

you guys should have looked at old man teds sword dancer thread yesterday i picked the #7 telling as a hunch over the 1-3-4 and the exacta paid huge i was going to play a 10 cent super with 7 with 1-3-4 with all with all but forgot to play it lol
