Bet Jamaica will be holding their Pick 15 Yearly Football Contest this season for all Bet Jamaica members.

Big prizes are to be given away, and Bet Jam has offered a separate weekly contest for TheRx.com members once again!

So not only will you have a shot at competing with Bet Jamaica members everywhere, but you will have the opportunity to showcase your capping skills against your Rx friends & foes each week for prizes as well!

The weekly prize money offered to us here at TheRx is under the stipulation that we have at least 50 members enter, so please make sure as soon as the Pick 15 Contest section is open at Bet Jamaica that you get signed up!

Let's once again give a special thanks to Scotty, Herman, & Bet Jam for making our football season even more exciting!

Prizes for the RX Subgroup are as Follows and are Based on At least 50 People Joining, so get signed up asap.

Contest Sub-group Prizes For RX Members

1st Place - $300
2nd Place - $200
3rd Place - 100

Year-End Prizes
1st - $1000
2nd - $750
3rd - $500
4th - $250

Prizes are Bonus Plays with 6x Rollover
All Prizes void if not claimed within 7 days of being announced/No Exceptions
Year-End prizes will require a minimum of $500 in action at Bet Jamaica before contest's end, or only 25%

Important Info
To receive the full weekly prize amount, winner(s) must have signed up and created an account (or have an existing account) and made at least one "real money" wager at BetJamaica.com of at least $25 on any event available in the contest during that week. All qualifying real wagers must be made no later than the contest entry deadline time (12:00 pm ET Saturday) each week to be eligible to receive the full weekly prize amount. All prize amounts are deposited to the winner's account at BetJamaica.com and require a wagering rollover of four times the prize amount before being able to be withdrawn.

One prize per account, multiple group or subgroup prizes not allowed. Multiple accounts not allowed.

Spreads are set and picking is opened by Tuesday evenings each week (before the first game of each week) during the season.

If creating a brand new Bet Jamaica Account you must sign up by clicking the banner in this thread or a link at the top of TheRX to be eligible for TheRX Sub-Group Prizes.

Winners who also place for a prize overall vs ALL other participants at Bet Jam must decide if they select the Bet Jam prize or TheRx Sub-Prize. You cannot claim both.

1. Go to Bet Jamaica (If you do not have a Bet Jam account, go ahead & sign up there first; Please use your Rx Screen Name when registering as a new participant)
2. Click on CONTESTS Image in middle right of screen.
3. Then Click On THE BETJAMAICA 1.1 MILLION DOLLAR NFL PICK 15
4. Click REGISTER FOR FREE
5. Ater you've registered, now click on GROUP MEMBERSHIP at the top left of screen as well
6. Select the letter T under JOIN A GROUP
7. Selcet TheRx
8. Password is bjam
9. After you have joined the group, you can click on MY SUMMARY which will show the group you are in, and then other options, such as "view" to see other members, make your picks for the week when the option is up, etc.

Question for you: If we are in the Rx group does that preclude us from being in the Bet Jamaica contest with their non-Rx members? Is this disadvantageous for us?

Are you talking about the contest on the site in general, or another site?

If you place for a prize overally all participants at Bet Jamaica's site, then you must choose between that prize or TheRx prize.

Obviously you will want to claim the larger of the 2.....

On the site in general. Is the Rx group separate from that? Can we enter both?

You can enter both and our group is combined with the overall anyhow.

Thats why if you do VERY WELL and place high above hundreds, or thousands of other Bet Jamaica members, the prize you could collect may be more than the weekly prize you would collect here from TheRx group.

Here you are only competing against RXers, will will be far, far less and give you a better chance of placing or winning a weekly prize.

So basically, if you don't finish high in the overall rankings vs ALL Bet Jam members, you could still end up towards the top of posters here.....

I see all of the other names in this thread, including my own in TheRx standings list then right under that is says VIPs and I'm the only one in that list.
