It's not bad. Could be better. I think if I was younger I would enjoy the piss out of it. I might be growing too old for games : (
They finally made it difficult to throw a deep pass (it was quite easy to complete a bomb in years past) , but you can still abuse the QB sneak into submission.
The presentation of it is more like a game you would see on TV but the play by play done by Tom Hammond, is absolutely terrible. I miss the Al Michaels days of Madden.

I got it for the PS3 this past weekend and was able to play one game. Saints vs Bengals. My first play of the game was an inside handoff to Reggie Bush and he gets hurt and is out until the second half. Then in the the second half I got Reggie 3 more touches before he gets hurt again. LOL!!!!
My one problem with the game is the way the playbooks have a different look to them. It is going to take some getting used to shuffling and calling plays because it seems everytime my team gets ready to line up on offense the clock is running low so I can't utilize checking out the offensive and defensive alignments and running a player in motion or calling an audible. I might need to tinker with the play clock a lottle bit.

you can adjust the clock in the game settings, its set to burn off 15 secs. You can turn that off or up it to 20 or more secs. But they set the default game clock to 7 mins a 1/4 instead of 5. I suggest just changing it back to 5 and no run off.... not sure if i like the new game speed, I put mine on medium instead of slow as default.
