Texas' best pitcher at the moment. Hunter (5-2, 2.26 ERA) has turned in five quality starts in his last six outings, and Wednesday's start against Cleveland was the longest of his brief career. The right-hander didn't walk a man and gave up six hits in 7 2-3 innings of a 5-0 victory, striking out five for his fourth win five starts since the All-Star break.

For the Twins Liriano (5-11, 5.39) stifled Kansas City on Wednesday, allowing one run and three hits and striking out eight in seven innings of a 7-1 win.

Los Angeles is hitting a major league-best .295 versus right-handers, which is not good news for Orioles rookie and Sunday starter David Hernandez (4-4, 3.81 ERA). He had an 0-2 record and an 8.59 ERA in his previous two starts, but rebounded in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Oakland, yielding two runs and six hits over 6 2-3 innings.

Ervin Santana (5-6, 6.38) allowed six runs and eight hits over five innings in that game and fell to 1-4 with a 7.43 ERA. Santana, though, will try to win his third straight for the Angels Monday after striking out six and tossing a three-hitter in Tuesday's 6-0 win over Tampa Bay.
