Here's the difference between the 2, at least for me. Stallworths' incident was an accident, pure and simple. Over the limit or not, 99.9% of this accident was the fault of the guy who got run over. If Stallworth had blown just under .08, I don't think he would have been charged with anything. What Vick did on the other hand, even though they were dogs, was intentional, deliberate, malicious, savage and heinous. This wasn't a one time incident. This cruelty to animals went on for 6/7 years. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE in these 2 cases for many reasons and Vicks case is by far much worse than Stallworths.

What Stallworth did wasn't even wrong in my opinion. He drank the night before! The only way the incident should be perceived as wrong is if the accident could have been prevented. The answer is no.

Scoops I have heard that arguement time and time again, and I still don't agree with the logic behind it.

All Im saying is that when it comes to some things people are more biased based on the culture they have been raised with.

Yes very true. The majority of people relate to dogs more then any other animal. They care about them as they do there own kids or friends.

I mean if people are raised in a culture to kill humans, are you more forgiving of that person when he does kill humans?

but what you fail to realize is that the Madoof person should rot in jail and never see light again. His was much worse than Vick. Premeditated harm is what I have been saying all day..

That is a tough one Terps but my answer is yes.Its like in Sierra Leone when those kids were trained to kill innocent villagers(all parts of the world for that matter). They were products of their environment.I am not condoning Vicks actions at all.I dont like dog fighting.I am just saying that on streets all across America youths are growing up with this same mentality,Ive seen it first hand,it is a part of the street culture.A lot of people think its wrong but to some its "natural".

In my opinion there is no excuse for a man of Mike Vicks caliper ,top paid man in the NFL to exhibit behavior such as he did.He should have made better judgement calls.I am sure that he had to know what kind of consequences he would be facing if caught. He made his bed now he is lying in it.But at least give the man a chance to make a change.

No doubt, he knew what he was doing. He was just plain ignorant and thought since he had stupid money nothing was going to happen. I'm hoping he rebounds and does well now...

60 minutes Vick said police turned the other cheek. He was raised in the projects and he fought dogs and then made vt and the falcons a lot of money. He got caught doing something he had done for yrs and went to jail for it.

he needs a second job!

i have been gambling for 20 yrs and i have tried to stop and can't. i have lowered my amounts but can not quit.

i'm just saying when i see 3 big fat women from phily holding a picket sign, it pisses me off! They need to go to jail for weighing 300 pounds a piece, a lot of beef has been eaten
