Help with electronics

Know very little but thought I might be able to get some help... looking for a new flat screen, high-def, etc.. approx 40.....any suggestions

also looking to buy a new pc for the home and 2 laptops...- nice size monitor(15 inches or so).. cd/dvd, etc... any help?

i would say buy a factory refurbished tv, i the savings is worth any possible risk factor one might mention.

i got my 42 inch magnavox plasma a little over a yr+ ago, bought online as a factory refurbished tv, spent under 650 on it.

What's great about it: Windows XP can be loaded on it. Windows 7 would be even better.
What's not so great: Vista sucks single core processor

"My moms friend bought this with vista on it. We uninstalled Vista basic and installed XP. Works even better now. If u cannot get xp windows 7 will run fine as well. Avoid Vista. It comes with it thats about it."
